hermaphrodite:

A person born with both male and female reproductive systems (or gonads: either one of each, two of each, or two ovotestes (gonads that have both ovarian and testicular tissue in the same gland)) as a result of a defect in fetal development. Also known as hermaphroditus-verus or true-hermaphrodite in distinction to pseudohermaphrodite .
