fraternize:

1. To associate with others in a fraternal or friendly manner.

2. During WWII, to have sexual-intercourse with. This euphemism originated when Allied soldiers were ordered to fraternize (to frat) with the local inhabitants of occupied territories. See copulation for synonyms.
