Defined by Captain Francis Grose in his Dictionary of the Vulgar Tongue (1811) as: ' To lie together .' See copulation for synonyms.2. Or: libber , a member of a women's lib(eration) movement. Rosalie Maggio, The Dictionary of Bias-Free Usage (1991): 'Lib and libber are derogatory and offensive, and they generally indicate hostility on the part of those who use them .' She recommends instead: liberationist, feminist, member fo the women's liberation movement.
