1. A bisexual person, based on baseball terminology for a right- and left-handed batter , one who hits from either side of home-plate . US coinage of the 1950s. See bisexual for synonyms.

2. Or: switch , in BDSM, a person who enjoys topping and bottoming and can alternate comfortably between dominant and submissive roles, either from scene to scene or within a scene.
