I have found only three references to this word; all three are from the mid-1960s:1. Roger Blake, The American Dictionary of Adult Sexual Terms (1964): ' An evolutionary process of change in a female involving certain physical transformations as well as a difference in mental outlook, which is brought about psychosomatically by homosexual leanings or through biological processes unrelated to the sex outlook .'
2. John Trimble, 5000 Adult Sex Words and Phrases (1966): ' Physical evolutionary change in a female, accompanied by a similar change of outlook, which causes certain male characteristics to appear. The condition may be brought about psychosomatically through homosexual preference or through biological processes .'
3. J.E. Schmidt, Lecher's Lexicon (1967): ' Loss of sexual characteristics in a female, as atrophy of the breasts .'
