labia minora:

The two smaller, inner lips (minor lips) of the vulva located inside the labia-majora ; they meet at the top of the vulva to form the clitoral hood (or prepuce of the clitoris); they are not as thick as the labia-majora , but they are more sexually sensitive and they swell and change color when the woman reaches a certain level of sexual excitement. Together with the labia-majora they protect the vagina , urethra , and clitoris . Singular: labium-minus .
