This humorous yet cynical credo of lechery is thought to be of recent coinage, but it's origin dates back to the 1930s and the movie I'm No Angel (1933) starring Mae West who, as Tira, tells a friend: 'Never let a man worry your mind. Find 'em, fool 'em, and forget 'em' .
