My only source for this word is John Trimble in 5000 Adult Sex Words and Phrases (1966): ' An alleged aphrodisiac used by Arabian grooms on their wedding nights, an occasion where custom demands that they copulate with their bride for the first time while friends and relatives stand by the bed and watch closely .'
